The Butterfly House started as an idea that quickly became a reality with just some signs on the trail. Opening July of 2020 to thru hikers and bikers off the CT and CDT word spread quickly and the Butterlfy House was born. I'm Shane Corrigan your host and owner of the Butterfly House. I was living in my van for several years traveling around Colorado and only just settled here on Monarch Pass in October of 2019. With a love for travel, the outdoors, and meeting travelers I decided to open a place making for a very fun and exciting new venture while helping the community.
